Areas of Focus

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like your mind is always “on,” jumping to worst-case scenarios or making it hard to relax. You might notice racing thoughts, trouble sleeping, or feeling constantly on edge. Together, we’ll work on understanding what your anxiety is trying to tell you while building tools to feel more in control. Ultimately, you can work with those feelings instead of against them.

Depression

Depression isn’t just sadness. It can show up as low energy, loss of motivation, numbness, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. At times, it can also bring thoughts about wanting to escape, disappear, or not be here at all. We will work to figure out what you are trying to escape, make sense of those feelings, and slowly work back to feeling hope and meaning in life again.

Life Transitions

Change, even positive change, can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating a new job, relationship shifts, moving, or entering a new stage of life, transitions can bring uncertainty and stress. Therapy offers a space to process what’s changing, find your footing, and move forward in a way that feels aligned with your values and who you are.

Identity Exploration

Figuring out who you are is an ongoing process, not a one-time decision. It may change multiple times over the course of your life. You may be questioning different parts of your identity, exploring how you show up in the world, or trying to better understand yourself. Therapy provides a supportive space to explore openly build a stronger sense of self.

Neurodivergence

Being neurodivergent, whether that includes ADHD, autism, or other ways of thinking and experiencing the world, comes with both strengths and challenges. You may feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or like traditional expectations don’t quite fit. Therapy focuses on working with your brain, not against it, helping you build strategies that actually make sense for you.

Trauma

Trauma can impact how you feel, think, and respond long after something has happened. You might notice strong emotional reactions, avoidance, or feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to change. Therapy moves at your pace, creating a sense of safety while gently working through experiences so they have less control over your present.
